Progress 4GL elements

Progress lets you adjust conventions for dates and numeric formats through startup parameters, such as Date Format (-d) and European Numeric Format (-E), and through session handles. The character- and string-processing elements of Progress fully support multi-byte character sets. See Appendix A, "OpenEdge Resources," for a list of Progress elements that support internationalization.
